Three Generations
One Rink
In 1930, Harold Campbell had a vision: create a place where families and friends could come together for fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He constructed the building and laid down the original maple floor with his own hands and laid a maple floor that’s still the heart of the rink a century later.
That vision has been passed down through three generations. In 2026, Harold’s grandson Ray Campbell took over management of Keystone Roller Rink, becoming the third generation of the Campbell family to own and operate this cherished community landmark.
Today, Ray and his ten children carry forward Harold’s legacy. The original building still stands and the Campbell family’s commitment to welcoming every guest with warmth and care is very much alive.
What Makes Keystone Special
The Original Maple Floor
Harold Campbell installed this floor in 1930, and it’s still the heart of the rink today. For 96 years, generations of skaters have glided across this same floor; a testament to Harold’s craftsmanship and our commitment to preserving it.
Maple isn’t just beautiful; it’s the gold standard for roller skating. It’s smooth, resilient surface provides the perfect glide while absorbing impact, making it comfortable for skaters of all ages and skill levels.

Ray and his family have deep roots in Sayre. Every decision is made with the community in mind, from keeping prices affordable to creating a safe, welcoming space where everyone belongs.
